Just me

April 2, 2005

Hello ~ Would be great to see your website updated. I'm certain that all would appreciate seeing up and coming shows posted, as well as bios and pics of your current band members. Upon the request of a friend in the music buisness, I went and caught the new and improved DGB show last night at the Wild Buffalo in Bellingham, WA. I have seen you perform before, but it has been awhile. You have improved leaps and bounds since then. You were awesome, and you all seemed to work so well together.
Absolutely awesome guitarist, one of the best I've ever seen, great keys and bass, and a drummer with a style all his own. The perfect blend. I found you all to be very refreshing.
Get ready to be busy! I predict that guys are going places!
Thanks for a great show!

you guys are great! went to Yukon/Alaska in summer 2003 to visit a friend and explore. My bud turned me onto your soulful sounds. Live in Anchorage...nothing like a live disc. Hope to see you sometime in the NorthEast...NY...upstate.

Danny, I'm a guy living up in Anchorage and first heard you at the Fairview up in Talkeetna, AK back in October. I'm not a big fan of new music, but ya'll absolutely kick ass. I bought your Live in Anchorage I and II albums and don't take 'em out of my CD player. I sent your music to my sister who is a kindergarten teacher in Santa Fe, NM. She brings your music to school with her every day and the little 5 year olds dance around the class all day when they're finger painting and doing other kindergarten stuff. The first day she played the music in class one of the kids asked her as they were doing nap time, "Can you please play Mr. Danny while we lay down?" So you have a class of kindergartners in New Mexico who know you as "Mr. Danny" and love listening to you. Thanks man….keep up the good work, and get your asses back up to Alaska!

What's up Dan!? I sure hope you havn't forgotten about us folk back here in Virginia. It's been a very long time since you guys have made it this way. I still do everything I can to promote your band online, and educate the masses as to how great you guys are. I even got a few people from overseas to listen to you guys via the Iron Maiden message board. Yes, even earthdogs, rivetheads, and hellrats like your music.

I just popped in to say hello, and let you guys know you havn't been forgotten here in Virginia. You are still the greatest band to grace the stage at 'Hoss's Deli' in Yourktown, and we can only hope we may be privilaged to see you guys perform again someday soon.

You guys take care of yourselves, and keep on jammin'

I heard you at Jazz Bones last week in Tacoma and I wanted to let you know that I did get ahold of your CD's and I love them. I am introducing your music to those in my dorm and my friends and they are loving what they hear. I even influenced a few to purchase your CDs. I'll look forward to your studio recording and hopefully this summer I can get out to Jazz Bones every Thursday, if you still play there. Let me know if you're ever coming up to Spokane again. I'd love to hear you play again. Take care and good luck.

Hi, Danny... my mom was browsing the net and found your band... hey, whattya know? We have the same last name. That's pretty unusual for us, since we're from Maryland... and I have never run into another Godinez outside my family. And, to know that you play music was really cool too!! My brother Javi and I are in Stone Gato, a latin-influenced rock band. If you ever feel like coming to the East coast and playing, we can discuss this. We're in the process of putting our spring/summer dates. If you all make it this way, feel free to crash at my house... no worries. By the way, what an excellent guitar player you are! Great music. Love it. Take care and keep up the great work!

I saw Danny and Friends at Jazzbones in Tacoma, on Nov. 18, 2004. Danny is a very gifted musician, and the band rocked that night. I know that he will be around, (God willing) for a long time to come. I also intend to catch another of their jam sessions, not only to get him to autograph his CD's for me, but also, to see them again live, for the band is very entertaining on stage. Thank you for a wonderful evening Danny, and i wish you and the rest of the band much success in your musical careers. God Bless.

Hey guys. I have been out of town for the last year or so. I used to waitress at the Jet deck. Long, curly hair blue eyes. I hope you remember me. Anyway, you graciously gave me your live in anchorage cd and my entire family especially my father has gone insane for your band. We talked about following you. He hasn't heard you live and his exact words were "If I get to see them live it would make my entire year!" no joke if you have the time please e-mail him your schedule and we will be there with flying colors. I know I have said this before but you all are extreamly gifted and I wish you all the sucess in the years to come. Much Love Emily

Oooops! Missed you guys at the Heritage Festival this year. Probably good for you guys, it was plagued with torrential rains and wind for 4 days! We (Dick Burns) ended up playing our set for only about 150 people. Sure hope to see you out here in the Black Hills again soon, If there's anyway I can help make that happen, feel free to let me know.

But I'm on the road alot, so maybe I'll be able to catch the band while "working". Wish you the best and hope to hear from you soon.

Danny, do your thing! I went to Denbigh High School as well. I'm a church organist and drummer on the Gospel Music curcuit. I remember you, but never got the opportunity to "gig" with you. If you guys are ever in Louisville, KY, or tour the area, it would be great to talk about old times, in the hallways of the Patriot realm. Peace to you and your crew, where can I get the album?!?

We're really missing Danny, and the gang here in Virginia. Thier short stay here amazed those who were lucky enough to witness the greatness of thise band. Thier shows are still talked about to this day, and we are all wishing thay can return soon. Danny is a true hometown hero in my opinion.
